Pleasure in the job puts perfection in the work (Aristotle-384
BC-322 BC)
1.
Aristotle could not have described it better. Enjoying your work
is really the baseline on which to build success in your job or anything you
find doing. Pleasure in smoking, is what makes the smoker to keep indulging in
the habit. What you find pleasure in doing makes you more perfect in that line
of endeavor. I have seen friends and business colleagues who find joy or passion in doing their careers and one feature common amongst them is this;
they can’t see themselves doing anything outside the careers they find
themselves!
2.
If you have a strong passion for any endeavor that makes you complete,
then you are in the right direction towards success in any career. So to cap it
all up, what does been happy in the job you find yourself do to you;
3.
It
makes you confident and that increases your work rate. Wondering why that
colleague of yours always comes to work, week in week out and no matter the
challenges work brings, always carries a positive attitude?
4.
Makes
room for success. Success is meeting up with departmental targets, scoring high
in appraisals, moving up the ladder in your chosen career and rubbing shoulders
with who is who in your office and most of all, helping others to grow.
5.
Increases
the knowledge base of your industry. Passion for your job, opens doors of
knowledge, because, you know that to succeed, you need to know all the
parameters that will guide your decisions.
6.
Makes
you settle down quickly into the different roles you play as
a father/mother or a boss or subordinate. Don’t think that workaholics are passionate people; they are scary people
who are though passionate about their jobs, but just don’t know that they can’t
do it all alone.
7.
With
passion for your chosen careers burning, you don’t see challenges as obstacles,
but a chance to break new barriers and increase your level of experience in the
chosen field of endeavor.
8.
All
the successful career professional succeeded because there was something
burning inside of them. Passion for excellence (success) is the reason why some
companies grow more than others. It is the reason, why some people’s career
succeed more than others.
Put
passion in your work.
